Description

Simple yet flavorful salad made from fresh veggies and tangy dressing. This salad adds a refreshing twist to dishes such as biryani, curries, sandwiches grilled meats, and seafood.

Ingredients for the salad:

  • 1 tomato (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 1 medium-sized red onion (thinly sliced)
  • a handful fresh coriander (chopped)
  • 1 small-sized white radish
  • 2 green chilies, thinly sliced

Ingredients for the dressing:

  • Lime or lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • 4 tbsps extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • ground black pepper to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak the thinly sliced onions in cold water for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Mix the salad ingredients in a salad bowl.
  3. Prepare the salad dressing and sprinkle over the salad. Turn twice and serve.
