Simple yet flavorful salad made from fresh veggies and tangy dressing. This salad adds a refreshing twist to dishes such as biryani, curries, sandwiches grilled meats, and seafood.

Ingredients for the salad:
- 1 tomato (thinly sliced)
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- 1 medium-sized red onion (thinly sliced)
- a handful fresh coriander (chopped)
- 1 small-sized white radish
- 2 green chilies, thinly sliced
Ingredients for the dressing:
- Lime or lemon juice
- salt to taste
- 4 tbsps extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- ground black pepper to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Soak the thinly sliced onions in cold water for 5-10 minutes.
- Mix the salad ingredients in a salad bowl.
- Prepare the salad dressing and sprinkle over the salad. Turn twice and serve.
